Curiosity Killed My Stupidity...

Ever been curious about something? I have. All the time. I never really did anything about it before... But I'm starting this blog to show the world all the things I'm curious about. I'm going to make time to find out about the things I want to know. I'm going to start with this. The phrase 'Rain-check'. They use it in American TV all the time but I never quite grasped what the full meaning was so I did some research...

Urbandictionary.com says it means: 

'To make an arrangement to do a said activity at another time.' Yahoo Answers says it means: Well I found it funny :) 'To tell someone that you cannot accept their invitation now, but would like to do so at a later time. It was first used when baseball games were rained out and fans were issued vouchers that allowed them to return and watch another game.  Here's an example of its usage: Mind if I take a rain check on that drink? I've got to work late tonight.'

I'll accept these as my answers for today, purely because it's late and I have to get up early tomorrow. My curiosity is satisfied for now. Until next time I'm curious about something x
